A week or two ago, thinkorswim added a new regular feature to their MonkeyBrains blog: daily video market wrapups from Joe Kinahan, chief derivatives strategist at thinkorswim.
So far, the videos are a great addition and really add a nice element to the blog. The only problem is that they’re usually uploaded 12+ hours after the market close for that day. This means that any support/resistance levels, trading ideas, or other time-sensitive elements in the videos are often already too old by the time the video is posted.
Managing a daily video blog/podcast is tough: just look at how few daily podcasts there are in iTunes vs. weekly ones. But if TOS could manage to get those daily wrapups posted within 5-6 hours of the market close that day, this mildly interesting feature of their blog could turn into a really useful one.
