Unplugged
So, a year ago this editor from Forbes tried to go a week sans email, blackberry, and cellphone. He lasted 40 hours before breaking down in tears and demanding his phone back.
It’s getting pretty common nowadays for people to say that we all spend too much time “plugged in” and not enough time in face-to-face interaction with other people, not enough time on “the things that matter,” etc. But just because everyone says something doesn’t mean it’s not true.
So for the remainder of today, we’re going unplugged, lol.
